Grooming should be accessible to every dog—not just the easy ones. We welcome dogs who are anxious, fearful, reactive, sensitive, or difficult to handle, including those who may have been turned away elsewhere. Our approach is patient, individualized, and low-stress, using breaks, positive experiences, and desensitization to help your dog feel safe and understood.
We’re not here to force your dog through a grooming appointment.

Is My Dog a Good Fit?
Not sure if your dog is “too difficult” for grooming? Tell us about them. We welcome dogs who are anxious, reactive, fearful, sensitive, high-energy, or have been turned away elsewhere. Every dog is evaluated individually so we can determine what care will be safest and most comfortable.

Before Your Appointment
A little preparation can help your dog have the most comfortable experience possible.
☐ Complete your dog’s intake form
Tell us about their personality, grooming history, triggers, sensitivities, and anything else we should know.
☐ Make sure vaccinations are up to date
Please have required vaccination records available before your appointment.
☐ Please don't worry about making them “perfect” beforehand
You don't need to hide their behavior or be embarrassed by their coat, anxiety, reactivity, or handling sensitivities. Tell us what your dog needs—we're here to work with them.
☐ Let us know about any changes
Please tell us about recent illness, injuries, medications, skin concerns, behavioral changes, or anything that could affect their appointment.
Most importantly:
Be honest about your dog. The more we understand about them, the better we can prepare and create a safe, positive grooming experience.
